    Motor UPDATE!!! It aint pretty

Because all we are is young and stupid. Don't you know that by now? Logan could've just went ahead and put a small block Chevy in it for little under 2 grand, but he dumped $4500 and a lot of faith into an engine builder so he could keep his grandpa's prized possension just like it was before he...

    Clear distributor cap

I was just given one. For free. Haha! Lucky me.

    Banger rod knock

You should be able to cruise at 50 all day with stock running gear, as long as the car is sound. Especially the motor. Older babbit + constant 50mph = a bad day. Every motor has their own smooth spot at the top end so I can't completely justify saying it was because you were going 50mph. As for...

    Air filter fire

I too have seen a Model A catch fire because of gas building up in an Air Maze. They're worthless to me. A club member once told me, "A Model A with an Air Maze is like running a mile and trying to breath with a rag in your mouth."

    Snyders Inserted Rods

We have a motor from Rich at AER in our sedan. Very happy with it. He was my first choice, just wanted to know a little about these rods and if they might work a little better. Thanks!

    Snyders Inserted Rods

Planning on building a decent touring motor for my 29 Special Coupe. Going to use Snyders pistons, ss valves, 1 piece guides, self locking adj lifters, B cam, counterweights, the only thing I can't decide on is what inserted rods to use. Snyders offers some rods that have the bearings wrap...

    Model A with a computer ?

I do side work for a guy who builds f100 steering boxes and hydraulic brakes kits for the model a, and he just sold a slant that he restored and he put a back up camera in it. I'd think they would be handy for blindbacks!

    Over-center clutch pedal spring ?

I've talked to a few people and even driven a car with a s10 clutch in it. You can push the pedal to the floor with just 2 fingers. And no chatter at all.

    Increase Speed on AA

I know the model a school bus "Huff n Puff" has some sort of Mitchell overdrive unit. You might call Mitchell and ask if they offer anything for the AA. Don't expect it to be cheap though.

Most potential power out of the Model A engine ?

I'd talk to Ron Kelley about building an engine with power. He bought my grandpa's old AA and built an engine for it that he then pulled a flatbed trailer with his speedster on it wherever he went and still cruised around 50. But if that's the case I hope you have a deep wallet.

    Mains and rods gaps.

I'm putting an engine back together. I forgot what the main and rod cap clearances should be for the plasti-gage.

Does anybody have any plans/blueprints for a Huckster body with doors? And possibly dual rear doors?

    Drum LED Tailights.

Met a guy today who would like to get his car ready for touring season. Mainly he wanted it to be safe so he ordered a set of LED tailights but he has the drum style housing so they did not fit. Anybody know of a vendor who sells LED tailights for drum tailights or a way to modify them to work...
