Tom, I am restoring a 1930 standard phaeton and was looking for information on the 'curtain pan'. I saw your post from 2010 in which you mentioned "3 correct ribs facing up". Can you explain what you meant by that since it appears I will have to make my own.

Restoring a '31 pickup. At a meet this summer saw several trucks, hard top, with a shelf above the windshield just an inch or so from the top. Good for maps, etc. Are there plans for such a shelf?

I am restoring a 1930 phaeton and after the body is painted will need to remount to frame. I will not always have 4 guys to help me move the body. Has anyone built some form of frame and hoist to handle this? I have been told that the body will most likely not fit correctly the first time...
