    Parking Brake Handle length

Were all parking brake handles 30/31 the same length? On my 30 CCPU project with a AA four speed the handle almost hits the tank when fully forward. There isn't room for your thumb on top. Maybe the AA's had a slightly shorter handle to compensate for the slightly higher transmission? Maybe I...

    Pickup Rear Bumpers

I am in the process of restoring a driver 30 CCPU. I want to add rear bumpers and a trailer hitch. What is the best structurally sound way to do this? I have a pair of sedan bumper brackets but they appear to be too short. Thanks for your ideas.

    Pickup Side Mount

I am restoring a 30 CCPU. It came to me with a passenger side side mount spare only. All of the other 30 CCPU's I have seen have a drivers side spare. Could mine have possibly come from the factory this way or is it a mash-up of parts? Thanks.

    Modern Paint Codes

Does any one know the Modern Equivalent paint codes for Ford Vermillion and Rubelite Red. My dealer stocks Nason but can cross reference about anything. I will be using a base coat clear coat system. Thanks

Bob C When you used the A-7085-B did you have any problems with the rear end being too far back? I have a A-7085-B and unable to locate a A-7085-E. Thanks

    AA transmission in an A

3/8 of an inch wouldn't bother me too much but I am afraid that one inch would throw the backend really out of wack.

    AA transmission in an A

I have these same parts and the entire unit is still 1" longer than the original. Did you force the rear end and drive shaft to the rear to get the set up in?

    AA transmission in an A

Help! Has anyone reading this ever put a "AA" 4 speed transmission in an "A"? My "AA" transmission, bell housing, special adapter, and universal joint are about 1" overall longer than the stock "A" setup. What am I doing wrong? Were their more than one type of "AA" transmission? Mine says...
