36 new wire harness, no tail light or brake light

The bulb matches the socket. Pins are offset and contacts on bulb bottom match up to contacts in light socket. Also, I’m using a 20 amp fuse.

36 new wire harness, no tail light or brake light

The tail light is a new assembly from CW Moss and I got the correct 6 volt bulb from them at the same time. The ground I think is the issue. But, I’m trying to work with positive ground but thinking in terms of negative ground. The wiring diagram that came with the harness show a ground at...

Hello Bruce. Thanks for the reply. I’m new here and I think I’m having as much trouble navigating through the forum as I am my wire harness. . Just to confirm my car is 6v positive ground. I’m looking at your attachments but when I enlarge them they are fuzzy. I don’t know...

Update of frozen Flathead. I pulled the intake and found rust on the valve springs and lifters. (I hope the picture shows). Both water pumps were frozen. I pulled those to have rebuilt. With seeing the rust on the valves I think it best if I pull the heads. If there is rust in the...

    V8 Sitting 18 years, won't turn over

The soaking with Mystery Marvel oil didn’t free the engine although it looks like the MMO is making it past the rings as the oil dip stick and level show a change. I switched to Kroil yesterday but I’ve decided to pull the intake to get a better look at the valves. I’m still reserving pulling...

Unfortunately I don’t have the crank. I’m gonna try a socket and breaker bar instead.

Hello. I'm a new member with you. I just picked up a 1936 Ford barn find. I've had two other Flat Head V8's, a 1938 and 1940 but that was back in the late 70's and early 80's. So it's nice to get back with the V8's. I searched the FAQ but didn't find an answer to my issue. My 36 was...
