What's the story with the 41 Ford grills that look like this. They are different than all the factory ones I have and have seen. This isn't the first time I've seen a set that looks like this. Thank you.

Preferably have the shop R&R it. He could have his normal mechanic R&R it if needed but it'd be easier to just have one shop do both.

Thank you! This got me where I needed to be, didn't even think of brake lines. 7/16-24 inverted flare. Ran to NAPA and picked up a plug for a couple of bucks that works perfectly. Gates Part# G60691-0004

I am trying to figure out what fitting I need to plug the oil filter return line on the oil pan of my '41. I picked up a 1/4 flare brass hex plug from Ace and the diameter seems to be correct or very close to it, but the threads are different to the point it won't even start to grab. Any help...

Thank you for your offer but I think the Mercury bumpers are completely different if I am not mistaken.

Probably 47/48 rear bumpers as I believe this was the only difference.

Sorry for bringing this post back up but I’m planning on going the stud route on my ‘41 24 stud and am wondering where everyone is sourcing their studs from and what length do I need?

This is what I'm curious about, I assume this is just a rear bumper mounted on the front.

Other than the rear bumpers having the Ford script and the front bumpers having a center hole are they the same? It looks like the inner bolt holes might be closer to center on the front bumpers? As in, can I run a rear Ford script bumper on the front? Thank you as always for your help...
