Looking for Ring, Pinion, Carrier, Nest Kit for 56 F100 Rear End.

I am trying to find ring / pinion, carrier and nest kit for a 1956 F100, but the style I have seems to be different, mine is on the right. The one on the left fits a 1955 Merc M100, but the two housings look identical on the outside. Is anyone able to help explain why they are different...
