Ok. I will go back and use the adjusters after setting the rods. I'll give it another shot. Thank you all for the advice.

I have purchased all new rods, rebuilt the brakes, rebuilt the actuator arms, new pins inside king pins. AND was going by Paul Shins video at adjusting the brakes exactly. Brake pads are within specs. Now, as I read on here, its contradicting on the how to.

So, checking and adjusting the brakes today, I came upon the front right actuating arm, adjustment #1 failed. All other brakes adjusted perfect to 4. Is there something wrong with the arm or brake?

Find yourself a 2-tooth steering assembly. Rebuild it and install. I did. It was 100 times better than the 7-tooth.

I was told mine was a 1928. However, I believe it is a '29. My horn rod is 45". So, maybe I am right, after all. Easiest way to know, pull it out and measure it.

Ah, there's supposed to be hooks! Does the rear seat back supposed to have a wood frame?
