    Say, anyone out there know of a diagram on how to mount the gas tank. I see there are some brackets and bolts with springs but no one can tell me all the parts involved or how it mounts in the frame and the tank. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Say, I am attempting to locate information on the solid metal mounting cushions/pads for the 42-48 convertibles that go between the body and frame. They are like the rubber cushions only they are metal. I think they are to 'stiffen' the body so it doesn't twist. I guess I need to know how...

    hey when you get a looking for some convertible top latches...... look at www.1946ford.com they have some good quality latches. They might have some left, cheaper than any other you'll find and the quality is there.
