Removing locking hubcaps, without key (1932)

Thanks guys. Sorry for the delay. Yes, it's a factory locking cap. I've attached a photo. I'm trying to get the car cleaned up for sale, but couldn't get the filthy spare off. Ended up lubricating and jiggling like you guys said. It popped right off when it hit the magic spot...

Removing locking hubcaps, without key (1932)

Hello guys, I've got one single locking hubcap on my 1932 spare that my key isn't working for. Is there any way to remove it without destroying it??? Thanks! Josh

Interesting! Ready for a dumb question??? Looking into the neck of my radiator I can't see the level. I'm guessing that's normal. How do you know your radiator's coolant level?

It keeps us young! :D The car has so much gingerbread on it I was considering putting some period blackwalls on her. Maybe lose the mirrors on the spares, the spare fabric covers and remove the wing window hardware. Just to tone it down, just a little. All can be put back on. I...

Hey Joe... Yes, the serial shows as a B. Know anything about the car? Cas3, Henry lived until 2014 I believe. He made it into his 90's and then some. Interesting he was still active. He must have been blessed with good health. While she isn't "correct" or perfect, she should be a...

Ever seen this 1932 Roadster ???

Got in touch with an old owner who owned it for about 15-20 years. He bought the car from a Henry Yeska, who restored the car. Has anyone ever heard of Henry Yeska? He mentioned Henry was a Packard and Cadillac parts maker and restorer. Said he always had a tent at Hershey.

Thank you guys! And thank you mhsprecher & David for the compliments. I got a last name of Shacklett as a previous owner. I found reference to this specific family owning a large business near Blue Bell and entering Ford/Lincoln cars at Hershey and Pebble Beach. I'm going to start...

Hey Sal, You're correct, it's got like a '35 or '36 engine. The car runs like a champ, but it doesn't have a numbers matching engine and trans currently. Josh
