    Height of '23 Touring Car

Thanks - I knew it would be tall. You're the first with accurate measurements. My project car came with the Disteel wheels. I'm constantly looking for a "fifth" for a spare. We had quite a project repairing a front hub that one machine shop dropped and broke while trying to remove bearing...

    Height of '23 Touring Car

I'm close to completing my many year restoration of a '23 low hood metal firewall 3 door touring car (my first restoration). I have not yet installed the top irons or top. I'm searching for an enclosed trailer to transport and store the car when the car is completed. I cannot find the maximum...

Need Both Rear Quarter Panels for '23 Touring Car

Thanks to all for the help. Just when I thought I was in big trouble finding these, I located them just down the road from me at Kyle Augustine's in Olathe, Colorado. He has a lot of parts so if you have trouble locating something you can try him at www.kylesmodelt.com. Tom Howe - Flying W...

Need Both Rear Quarter Panels for '23 Touring Car

Wow! good idea(s) guys - I may consider the fiberglass solution. Jackdaron - two bad I didn't know about your back seat section a couple years ago. I'm down to the point where I only need the two rear quarter panels now. And... Indy and western Colorado are a long ways apart.......

Need Both Rear Quarter Panels for '23 Touring Car

I appreciate the offer but I hope I don't have to fabricate these myself. If the ones that are available from Model T Haven are not salvageable I guess I could use them as a form to make some fiberglass replacements - but I haven't done any fiberglass work for about 50 years - I suspect things...

Need Both Rear Quarter Panels for '23 Touring Car

Thanks guys - no I have not contacted Howells, but I will. And yes - I believe the three piece rear Touring Car body panels are the same (or very near the same) from 1922 through 1925. But I'm a real neophyte at this game - the '23 I'm restoring (or attempting to restore) is my first Model T...

Need Both Rear Quarter Panels for '23 Touring Car

I need both left and right side rear quarter panels for an early (low hood) 1923 Touring Car. I believe the part numbers (From McCalley Parts List) are 8156B and 8157B. I don't believe anyone is stamping these body parts new. Tom Howe Flying W Ranch Hotchkiss, Colorado howet@tds.net

    Spindle Bushing Reamer

Thanks guys - I'll do some more checking. I have the new bushings mounted in the spindle - got that part done on my own. I'll check with a couple machine shops on their price to do the reaming and also check the other options recommended. I really appreciate the help. T. Howe

    Spindle Bushing Reamer

Thanks - it would be nice if someone on Colorado's western slope had one I could borrow. howet

    Spindle Bushing Reamer

I'm a one time Model T restorer. I need to ream my spindle bushings but really don't want to spend $90 - $100 for a reamer I'll only ever use twice. Is there somewhere I can either buy a used reamer (which I can then re-sell) or rent for my one time use? Tom Howe Flying W Ranch Hotchkiss...
