I use a Cool Carb tehnolgies spacer on my 239 cure my vapor lock ! http://www.coolcarb.com/

the carb was just rebuilt with new float and power valve-plugs cap rotor points and condenser are a year old coil is 3 years old- truck runs at 185 degrees all the time (even on a 95 degree day) and runs like a top - I am leaning toward vapor lock or carb leaking internally-possibly faulty power...
