I am in the process of finding a place near Knoxville......does TN require state safety or emissions test on antique cars? How about any annual taxes.....personal property, etc.?
E10 fuel ate the coating in the gas tank on my '40 coupe and clogged up the whole system.......then it rusted on the interior surfaces.....then I replaced it with a SS tank.....no issues since.
I have used the UNISYN for many years with excellent results....it is a very useful and dependable tool for multi-set ups. It is absolutely necessary in setting up a multi-carb intake, or a Hilborn sack injector.
How do you figure they becoming rare? Chevy made those distributors by the millions......I see them for sale at every flea market....can be had for about $10.......kind of like saying Model T Fords are rare......
Are you saying the NOV/DEC issue is just now going to the printer? That does not seem correct by my experience....I have received issues during the first of the two months. Seems way late to me For a November issue date........the JAN/FEB issue should be ready for the printer by this date.

I use well water to wash all my vehicles (my sole source of water on my property.....other than rain)......no spots whatsoever.....seems like your well has a high concentration of minerals......if so, try vinegar (first on a small, non-obvious place!).
Typical reality show......lots of dramatic antics, little by way of educational information.....somewhat of a knock-off of other Motor Trend TV shows.....
In 7 years there is a possibility the cylinders rusted if the engine was not sealed and was exposed to mild/high humidity. Maybe a bit of kerosene/diesel in each cylinder for a week or so will free it up..... Also, if it is a stick shift, make sure it is in neutral (with the parking brake on)...
I had an 11 inch/machined flywheel on my 296 inch motor with lots of specialty work (vintage dragster motor).....worked very well, smooth action.....but a bit tough on old legs.
