    Windshield Cloudiness

All set thanks guys - I will replace for all the reasons stated. Next will be to determine whether I order from one of the catalog suppliers or have a local glass shop custom cut. I'd prefer to pay to have everything done locally.

    Windshield Cloudiness

Have you guys experienced your windshield developing moisture in the middle? I believe I have the original, it fogs up this time of year but clears up in the summer. Can't access the moisture since it's in the interior pane. Assume I can't fix. It's getting worse so I'll likely have to update...

Thanks for all your feedback Gents. I certainly did not want to hi-jack the thread but felt my situation aligned with the notion of additives like STP. The motor runs great. It seems to have adequate power and idles well too, starts right up as well. It just smokes blue like there's no...

    Gas Tank Removal And Repair

I have to figure something out here too.... My fuel shut-off is in the "off" position, the glass bowl is dry, as I ran the car out of fuel before shutting it off. I continue to wipe up gasoline in my drip tray under the car... Wife isn't happy about the garage smell either.. I will...

    Insurance Question...

I have $150,000 worth of classic cars insured through Hagerty. I trust them with my collection and they have been great for many years. I've had one claim and they were exceptional. I have Allstate for everything else. I would recommend Hagerty for all things classic cars.

Nope, I'm not trying to "dope the car & push it off to a newbie", I am a newbie to the Model "A" - but have been a gear-head into cars all my life... I just acquired this car, my Grandfather's car I helped him restore in Kansas 35 years ago...It's not going anywhere. Since it rolled out of the...

I'm looking for a Band-Aid.... My original motor is worn out and never rebuilt at 84k. I plan on a full rebuild this winter, but until then it smokes blue in a heinous way. Runs great other than that! I'm looking for a way to reduce the oil burn so we can at least enjoy the car this fall...

    What color is my car?

Thanks guys for the great comments. Based on the links of other cars I believe it is Kewanee Green, which is a neat color. I will leave it as is, it looks good and I am now going to start going through the mechanicals, the car has 84,000 original miles and the motor is tired, it burns a lot of...

    What color is my car?

Hi All, I've had the glorious opportunity to purchase my Grandfather's Model "A" Coupe. He purchased it in the 70's from a Kansas farmer and as a kid I "helped" him restore it which was 35 years ago. I remember it being a factory beige with brown trim, and when painted he went with green and...
