I like to use a cherry picker to hold up the motor plus you can move her around a bit when installing the transmission back. I agree blocks to hold it in place if she’s going to be out for some time..

I have a 32 American built pheaton body that I have a few questions about. When I got the body the rear doors have no hinges on them and are the front hinges the same as the rears. Also the front seat backing was removed and don’t have one . Was this part shared with other bodies. Thank you

In my experience my model a frame that I had off my 31 coupe fit my 1932 truck cab and only difference I noticed was the lip and hole for the windshield wiper. Mr Wescott has pointed out the differences in some frame and he would know as he built hundreds if not thousands of bodies
