    Fuel pump help needed

Hi. On my 239 french flat, I wanted a fuel pump with a glass bowl instead of the original one. I checked on an old 59L I had, same tickness at the rear of the intake, same stand and same pushrod. So I assume, same lobe on the french camshaft. Now, to fit the new pump, I had to shortening the...

Yes, I do apologies because the situation is becoming critical. People are calling me a liar, and I can’t stand that. I didn’t make any of it up.

I knew when I bought it, it will not be so nice as a Brookville. The main reason I didn’t build by myself was to save time and use their experience in building bodies. A lot of guys are satisfied with the quality of the swedish bodies. Mine as a manufacturing issue. I’m here to find out...

I think you’re right glennpm. Looking at the reportage, they put a support between the frame and the bottom of the quarterpannel. This one measure 3 1/2 in. On my car, I have 4 1/2. In the inside of the trunk, this shape shoudn’t be seeable. On mine, we can see the top of it. The whole...

Here you can see the manufacturing of their bodies : https://www.usabil.nu/reportage/usabil-nu-projektbil-del-4-kaross/ Look at the height of the rear kick up. No more to say.

We had contact with the company who built the body. They said the issue is because I use an european frame. I’ve never heard there is difference between european and american frame !

This one is built by the customer. Almost no gap on the rear. Most likely the jig they use isn’t correct

I’m curious to know how you did. I tried without heating, the frame didn’t bent.

Here are few pics I found of Swedish bodies on original frames. Some cars have a big gap, some not. The most signifiant is the last one.

I think they fit better. But a Brookville body imported in Belgium is almost two times the US price.

Actually, the door opening is kept by a square tubing bolted to the A pilar and the B pilar.
