Yep, thanks. I have also been a member here on the Ford Barn for a long time but don't check in often.

Yep, likely worth driving 100 or so miles to get there. I have been going to it for probably 25 years and the last few I have been at are like most swap meets and not as good as they used to be. However, you just never know.

I cut the ones on my 56 in half to have more travel. I had them out for a while when I had blocks instead of the Aerostar springs and definitely had a hard hit! But, the stops are too tall to have much travel full height with the new springs.

Looks like you are gathering up some cool parts Lance! Keep the updates coming.

Sold

*************SOLD*************Not sure if this is a 28 or 29, but it is very complete and comes with an additional parts truck that has another frame, engine, cab, and suspension. It has some of the usual rust in the lower cowl, etc. but is a fairly decent truck overall. It does not run and...

Thanks guys! I will try to post the story tomorrow of how I ended up with the 56. It is quite the story.

Well, I have been on here for about a year and a half now, but really haven't posted anything other than trying to sell my Model T. I now have an original-unrestored 56 Fairlane and plan to be a little more involved. Thanks for having me! Jeff

I have used paint remover on a few sets of aluminum wheels to either remove clear coat or colored paint. It worked well and didn't damage the wheel at all. I just used "Aircraft" stripper made by Klean Strip and applied it liberally and then blew the paint off with high pressure water. Any...

Still for sale and here are some better pics.

I really don't want to take much less than the asking price. I am somewhat torn whether I really want to sell this one or not...

Still for sale...
