looking for a flathead oil pan around 1940 --or later pre 8ba---standard oil pan-in good condition------- large Drain plug----non truck--- standard pan----

Ok tim were did yore motor come from??? This is a 46 or latter---59 series block--?????in a 40 coup --ca car--

And it has a rope rear main seal to------with floater rod bearings---pre 49-------------?

Then can you tell me were-its from??????-how about a picture--this was built 45 years ago---

Does anybody recognize ths crank shaft 59 block with threaded oil gallery plugs next to each rod journal---???? The casting is diff to have these---as of now its a mystery-----

Did a 1940 ford coupe have a fuel filter????? Or just a glass bowl at the pump with a screen------------- fg63

They make the original hoses-----they do have a flare to them---some people are out of stock i did get a set of new ones-------i was lucky---

The best way to fix this is to go back to the stock thermostats--they are much larger and cant go up the hose----ford had it figured out----ebay stuff now 155---temp------------- and they open up not down----

Anybody know how to keep 1940 thermostates from ending up up inside the hose---upside down and backwords------------???????????or just go back to the stock ones--------------they worked when the cars were new----?????????--------
