I am trying to remove the fuel pump push rod. There is a metal plate (not sure how to describe) that restricts the rod from coming out. Does that plate come out, is there a tool for removal or is it just stuck because of age? Help George at rmad56@aol.com

Hi, I recently purchased a 1937 Ford 4dr sedan. I am having the fuel tank cleaned and need to find out where I can purchase the lead seal ring for the filler spout! Any help would be much appreciated. e-mail rmad56@aol.com Thanks
