Help Please 1930 Roadster Body Wood

I bought the Body Wood kit for my 1930 roadster, but there are no diagrams or descriptions for where each piece goes. (Not body blocks). My car was a basket case and had no interior wood to give me a idea of where and how to attach the pieces. I know some of it forms a barrier behind the seat...

    cleaning out a radiator

I used CLR as listed earlier. You have to remove the radiator and let it work its magic overnight, but I got great results.

    Hood Prop Kits

For what it's worth, I also use the Vintique product and it's very easy to install, doesn't rattle and does not stand out like a sore thumb and it's easy to remove if you want to show the car and want to maintain originality.

    Who's Buying An"A"?

I have had more than my share of classic cars over the years - Model A to 57 Chevy to Chevelles, corvette, etc. and like many of you, they just happen. I don't really plan to buy another car. I just do. Will I buy another Model A - sure! It's a blast to drive and I never tire of its simplicity...

    TCP paints

I've used TCP Global Restoration Paint with excellent results. I was a PPG guy but thought I'd try it out. Sprayed a 73 vette pearl white. Great coverage and finish.

    Naming vehicles.

I named my 1931 Tudor "Bessie". My cars have always had female names. My 57 Chevy is Betty named after my mom and mother in law. I had a 68 Mustang named Louise. Each had a personality that seemed to fit the name.

Do you have a fuse on the starter? Little safety product. If so, new 20 amp fuse and I'll bet you are good to go.

    Harbor Freight spray gun?

I've used a HF gun to shoot high build 2K primer, and for a primer gun its okay...nice thing is you can clean it or throw it away. I agree with several of those posting here...I'd use it for chassis paint and primer. Not a finish job gun by any means. Yes, SATA and IWATA are nice guys and lay...

    31 Headlights

I had the same issue today on my 31 Tudor. I too had a new harness, new switch, bulbs, etc. it ended up being two things - bad ground (I admit I committed the ultimate Model A sin. I ran modern wired grounds) and secondly it was the new switch. The spring in the housing wasn't strong enough to...
