On a 36 Ford original King Seely gas gauge and sending unit does the float sit above or below the wire hoop? I have the float below the hoop and I read over full. I bent the arm but now I seem to be not reading empty correctly. Thanks. Any information appreciated. Goldfinch28

On both my 1956 Ford T-bird and 1956 Mercury Montclair when sitting in storage, transmission oil is migrating from the Torque Converter back into the transmission pan. Anyone have any ideas why this is happening? Shouldn’t there be a check valve or stop to prevent this from occurring.
