1932-34 Ford Truck Blue Oval Emblem.

My 1934 Ford Pickup truck has an original emblem on it, and it does not have ROSS on it. Just my two cents worth. George Maher, Fargo, North Dakota

    33/34 paint color

When I restored my 1934 Ford P/U I found an area inside the cab that was in excellent condition. So, I chipped a small piece from the area ( it was above the headliner of the cab) and took it to the local body shop in Lakota, ND where I was living. The vehicle paint specialist matched it...

    Hard Steering 34 pick up

I have a 1934 Ford pickup and it steers very, very well - no problems. It pays to keep everything absolutely stock on these old vehicles - including the tires. Mine are on 17 inch rims, just as the originals. I would not experiment with anything else - ol' Henry Ford knew just what he was...

1992 Ford F-150 p/u camshaft chain or gear driven

I was told by a mechanic that the camshaft on my '92 Ford pickup, six cylinder, five speed transmission is chain driven rather than gear driven. From the outside of the engine, it appears to be gear driven. Which is it? George Maher Fargo, North Dakota 701-866-4607

How about a Ford Barn calendar?

I would love to have a couple of "Ford Barn" calendars, I think it's a super great idea. Is there the man-power to put one together? I'm sure it isn't easy, but it would be super great. George Maher Proud '34 P/U Owner

    33-34 pickup seat question

My 1934 Ford P/U has the fuel tank between the frame members at the rear also. The P/U fuel tank is the original one that came with the P/U when is was bought brand new at the Michigan, North Dakota dealership. I bought the P/U from Vern Hanesalo who is the original owner according to the...

How Many Know The History Of their V8 Since New ?

I bought my 1934 Ford pickup from Vern Hanesalo who farmed northeast of Lakota, North Dakota. He bought it from the Ford dealer in Michigan, North Dakota when it was new. I bought the truck from Vern in 1974, when it was just sitting there in his scrap heap. I rented a flatbed trailer, dragged...

28 Degrees in petaluma calif..Your town?

Here in Fargo, ND we had three below zero and eight above today. Kinda chilly. It is predicted that Thursday it will be minus 2 for the high and minus 15 for the low. Still kinda chilly. In 1926 we had a high of 43 and a low of minus 32 in 1977 - I really remember that one. George Maher...

Are you a Purist or a Realist?

I believe that I am a purist with my 1934 Ford Pickup. I have all '34 parts for it and many spare parts to back me up for years. So, I am a purist; if Henry didn't build it his was then I don't want it. George Maher Fargo, ND

Did you find your car or did it find you

I went lookling for an 'old Ford' and found it in a farmer's junkyard. It took a lot of work, but I was single and had plenty of time. Now, I wouldn't trade it for anything! I sure love that old ford, my 1934 Ford Pickup - it's a gem!!
