    Over 'Town'

Gary Does the rope still come up though the floor at Marine Hardware? And how about that great wood stove in the back of the store? Do you remember my 40 coupe and 3 or 4 Model A's that came to your place for a visit? Gary

Another turn signal question...need advice from electrical guru

Re: Another turn signal question...need advice from electrical guru - Part 2 If you use Novita listed above your lights will flash the proper interval and you can have 1-6 bulb in play. I use these flashers on jobs and have had good luck with them.

    1939 transmission fault

jukenut 16 Check page 177 & 179 in the 38-40 service bulletin's. You may have wrong width synchro sleeve. They changed the width of the large gear on the cluster. As a result the sleeve rubs on that gear when in high gear...

    welch plug 21 stud engine.

All of the blocks that I rebuild with those plugs, get drilled and tapped for 1/2 pipe thread. I remove the center main studs or bolts and drill with magnetic mount drill. After drilling chuck up a large center drill to start the tap. Use flush pipe plugs and 565 Loctite to finish the job...

    1950 convertible overdrive

Is anyone familiar with the remote solenoid used 49-51 converts and wagons with overdrive. It has a bell crank affair that relocates the solenoid under the transmission, out of the way of the X member. I am trying to find the tin cover that keeps the dirt and water off the bell crank etc...

    R10 Overdrive Issue

fredv I have been following your problem here. From one of the photo's I can see that the snap rings are missing that locate the shifting sleeve on the sun gear. This would allow the sleeve to slide with the shift fork and not bring the sun gear with it. Overdrive needs to come apart...

    Harmon Collins Rotors ?????

Joe Twelve rotors arrived today in fine shape. I fit one up on a distributor, and the rotor is a perfect fit. You are to be commended for the considerable effort you put in to pull this off. No question, this is the real deal. Anybody that buys one of these will be most happy with it. Thank you...

    Low speed generator

Group Any body know part number, or have info on field coils used on generator with bulbous case from about 1937. The case was made to take large coils so it would charge at low speeds. I think the # might be 79-10000A, but not sure. Any info would be welcome, as I have one here to...

    Harmon Collins Rotors ?????

I do the Harman Collins dual coil here in Seattle. If whomever is going to do this, I would be interested if they make both the rotor and the inner cap. I would like to see the inner cap made without the primary connections as part of the inner cap. They are a major source of high tension...
