Ok so when I got the box it was a greasy mess so had it tank cleaned, so was it used incorrectly or maybe it wasn’t used. If I strip it what am I looking for?

I have a question about flathead gaskets: could I use the copper ones in the picture as a replacement for the one below? I know that the centre holes ie triangle, round and square are different. Would this cause a problem ie water flow, or would it have not much of an effect?

Thanks Nick for that, I did try to something like that but it would flatten down then it would just spring back to where it was previously.

Hello , as I restore the 34 sedan I have noticed the rear bars off the diff have a curve to them as seen in the picture, are they bent or is this a factory thing. If bent it would be near impossible to straighten them without the tube collapsing .
