    Chinese Crap wheel bearings.

, I found some at Loop 70 Automotive, an old parts store and machine shop here in Columbia, MO. I bought 4 rear bearings for my '62 Galaxie. They were NOS still in the original Ford boxes for just a few bucks each. I installed two and have two spares. Many times, old local parts...

    Ford Town U.S.A.

That's the reason. The 61 birds were not introduced until November 10, 1960. Production started October October 3. http://automotivemileposts.com/prod1961tbird.html

From what I can find, the promotion may have been for the 1961 full size Fords and Falcons. That would explain maybe why all the T Birds in the photo are 1960 models.

Being from the Pittsburgh, Pa area, aka the rust belt, when he traded it in it was pretty well rusted up. It was one...

    Clutch Pedal Bushings

Oops, sorry, looks like what I saw was for a truck. They used grey plastic or nylon bushings for years on many Fords and I would think other years would fit. These are for a 65 and up Mustang. Maybe you could make them work. http://johnsmustang.com/Parts/details-1792.html

    1962 Ford Galaxie Registry

I just found and joined this site today. Fantastic!! Several years ago I started a Registry for 1962 Galaxies. It has currently over 400 entries from around the world. Over the years it has grown to contain just about anything you would want to know about the great '62 Galaxies except the...

Just found this site. Great!!! Here is my '62 Galaxie 500/XL Sunliner. She has a 390 4 bbl with automatic trans. License plate is MLKY WY. What else would you call a big white Galaxie? Other than a CD player and electric pusher fan for parades she is original or restored to original, every nut...
