This is a steering column support that I made when restoring a 29 Tudor. It allows you to start the engine and drive the chassis. See photos. The support attaches to original holes in the frame. You will need a few bolts to attach it to the frame. $25 plus shipping . Weight is approx 15 lbs...

I want to thank everyone who replied to this post. I just spoke Steve at Bert's about the situation with the stop light switches. I found out that the switch that I bought last year is the same switch that is being sold today. And that switch does have a shorter rod then the original; however...
