I have a serious rear main oil seal leak on my 1937 60 hp flathead. Can it be repaired (new gaskets and seals) without pulling the motor? I am not sure even where to start! Anyone could shead some light :confused: it really would be appreicated. Thanks Mike :eek:

:confused: I am wondering why my 1937 ford gas tank had a heavy coiled spring with a cotter keyed bolt on one end of the tank. This bolt is used to secure the tank to the frame. Can anyone explain why or what purpose does the heavy duty spring & bolt have?:eek: Thanks Mike
