I've said it before, and I'll say it again: I love the look of your Comet Caliente.

Looking forward to your progress posts as I did with the Comet Caliente. The truck already looks pretty good. I'm sure you'll make it into showroom condition.

About 15 years ago I switched my '56 Fairlane's bias ply tires for radials, and although they were only about an inch or so lower, it took me a long, long time to get used to the difference in the height. Just didn't look "right" to me.

Yes, I'd noticed, too, that there is a Continental Kit on that car. Looks like a Ford to me.

Thx for the interest. This is a five year old thread, but, as an update, I've had the car out many many times since then, and no problems. So, I just let well enough alone. Haven't done anything to it and it's running fine.
