Model A Fords, I believe when “NEW” these cars were never driven at 60 mph or about 100km per hour, because of the roads 90 years ago.

For interest. My 28 RHD South African assembled RPU has round grooved pedals of a little over 60mm or just over 2”. The shafts are elongated 10mm by 20mm approx. half in by 3/4 in. Regards

Hi Ron, I had the same problem with my 28 Roadster pickup. I would strongly suggest rather than changing the structure of the B posts, to remodel the front seat back rest. I made a much thinner foam seat back and covered it with the same material as the seat bottom. You might not get the 3 to 5...

Steamgas, Mine has a rear bumper. The guy who restored my 29 RPU many years ago, had to use a car frame, as that was all he could find at the time and the PU frame was shot. Hence the rear bumper on mine.

The tank on the pickup is above the drivers knees. The cowl, instrument panel and part of the fire wall is the fuel tank, with the filler cap and the wind screen on top. Sadly, a very dangerous position if you are in a serious accident. Regards Chris

Ron, Show us your top, please. I made my own fixed top by marrying the top sketches. My wife liked the C cab look. I don’t like the bare poles and moved the C about 6 inches forward, covering the pole as well as the side mounting bolts. It is obviously a removable, but not fold down top. Chris

Ezlife, Get yourself a piece of hose, garden hose, rubber hose, whatever and use it as an ear piece. Hold one side close to your ear and the other, “sniffing” around the joints of the manifold and engine. Works like a phone.
