    Electric fan for a flattie

Hi fellas, I'm sure this is old stuff but there isn't an index to look up on. I'm installing a Jamco power steering kit and putting the pump where the present fan is. 8.8 in a shoebox

    8.8 in a shoebox

Has anyone tried to install a Ford Ranger 8.8 trac-lok in a 49-51 Ford? the width is 56 1/2", same as a Maverick, but readily available and reasonably priced. Problem is the pinion is 3" off center to the right and the drive shaft won't clear the tunnel. Any solutions? Walt

    8.8 in a shoebox????

Does any one know the width of a Ranger p/u ? I can't keep my flattie powered '49 hooked up on the strip and...
