Need to find out Stock clutch & presser plate size for the 48 Ford. If its 9.5"or 10" If it is 9.5, will a 10" fit ? any info needed. thanks

I need help. I want to put a 53 mercury motor into a 48 ford. I have the bellhousing adapter to mate motor with the stock transmission. what I don't know is what flywheel and pilot bearing to try and get, in order to match with the stock disc, and presser plate. I want to replace those with new...

I want to drop my 53 merc engine into my 48 ford and keep stock running gear. does anyone know what flywheel I have to use in order to hook up to stock clutch, pressure plate, etc. I have the bell housing adapter to connect the transmission bell. hope someone has done this before and help me. Thanks
