Is the starter bendix for a Model A the same as one for a V-8? Third Gen is out of stock but a found one on a model A sigh.

My 8BA has what I think is cam gear noise. It started making noise with about 40,000 miles on the engine. it makes noise between 1700-2500 RPM under light load. noise goes away when letting off the throttle.

Actually no, It is a regular Brother machine that she use to make doll cloths. We could only sew 2 layers together so the pattern is fairly simple.
