Thanks for the input guys. It seems like my 36 driveshaft is the only year that is a tube axle. I am thinking of swapping it to a shorted 46 driveshaft and use a 6-6 spline sleeve. Can I use the 46 shaft in the 36 tube, or will that cause trouble with the bearing that the smaller massive shaft...

Hello Fordlovers! This is my first post on Fordbarn. Has anybody here used the 6 to 10 spline sleeve(?) that connects the driveshaft to the pinionaxle? Some "expert" told me it was known to cause vibrations. Has anybody here the same experience?
