another question for Mac .or anyone else. I got the tailstock off no problem . but I assumed the rear tailstock seal was the same as r10 and you know what happens when you assume something the r10 seals are 2 and 3/8 diameter and the r 11 are 2 and 1/2 Mac would you have a number for the r11...

A question for Mac VP . on this r11 is there anything specificly differant in the re and re procedure of the tailstock , if I dont have to get into the guts , just want to possibly change the tailstock / yoke seal . is the shift rail procedure the same as r10 thanks Fred

just getting back to all who responded took trany out and pulled apart .. planetary's were toast and part of a tooth lodged and wouldnt let shift rail move so looking for planetarys and sliding gear to repair it In the mean time I found a good overdrive and installed all seams good...

well boys no joy have had the side plate off and physically moved the rail plunger back and kept it back while try with running nothing .. It looks like i am looking for a transmission or at least removing and rebuild .. thanks again for trying Fred

today i remove the solenoid thinking it might be stuck in the extended position which I think would stop reverse but no joy but when i re installed it .. I didnt have to extend it to get it attached ,to the plunger i thought that you had to ... but took for a drive couple miles overdrive worked...
