    generator is good, cutout is good, ammeter shows discharge on lights and horn but doesn't show charge on generator, tried everything, new thought, if one of ammeter connections either in terminal box or at ammeter is loose or disconnected, would ammeter still show discharge but not charge...

    retard lever problem

    the connecting link between the steering column and the distributer does not seem to have any effect on retarding the engine although it is connected to the plate on the distributor. Should be any easy fix, possible retiming the engine but any ideas appreciated. Pete in Lagrangeville NY...

    while I am running the A it doesn't charge over 0. Generator seems ok as also a new cutoff. Horn discharges the amp but horn either doesn't work or makes very weak sound.     on model As I have and have had if I let them sit for a while, sometimes six months the horn doesn't work. The ammeter shows that the horn is getting power but rather than putting it on the bench and having it rebuilt are there easy ways to check it and get it firing again? Thanks for reading...
