    Balance a Burtz

Why even chance not balancing a 'Chinese' product. I don't care if they balanced them over there or not, I have them balanced again as a precaution. I agree with Dan McEaechern on that premise when spending all the extra $$$, why not spend the extra few bucks... But with that said: Terry is...

Jim, Please give Brenda or Sandra a call. Those 50 and 55 year pins are so rare, they are made to order. I’ll be sure and check for you too! Thanks for your long term support! Ed Tolman 2025 MAFCA President

    Lucas versus European Classic tires

I have purchased several sets from Dave Bockman in Visalia, California and run them on two of my cars. They are great and I've had no problems with the black. The white walls were a different story but the problem was remedied early on by the factory. I'm very happy with my Classic European tires.

H&H Model A motor thrust bearing issue

The Way Henry Built It...I've learned from the mistakes made by H&H and place the thrust washers on the rear main in all the engines I rebuild (25+ now) Also helpful were the many great discussions with Jim Brierley, Sammy Gutherie and others. Thanks

Paul asked Terry to answer here, in full view of the public, to put this to rest. Let's show some respect...both sides now!

The Terry Burtz 5 main bearing engine blocks are back on track.

It is absolutely disappointing to hear that this work had to be taken to China. I use a very competent US owned iron foundry in Mexico for a lot of our work and they are very good. Whether or not they are up to casting an engine block... Not sure. But did anyone try and contact Mesa Castings?

    Kwik way lbm

I now own a Ammco 400 LBM purchased from JB here on FB but now I'm looking to buy some new tool bits. It has a 1.25" diameter boring bar with 5/16" diameter bits? Also, how does one use the facing adapter, shown above, to cut a pocket for the thrust washer?I understand the principle in how it...
