    Holley 81 v8 60 carbs

I put a new motor in my model a, and somehow ended up with a pair of holley model 92 carbs, which are the holley version of the famous stromberg 81 carbs. I can't find any information on them, especially regarding stock power valves or jet sizes. I plan on running them on a gear drive intake on...

    White Gas

Coleman lantern fuel doesn't have any of the additives normal pump gas does. It doesn't leave a sooty residue, and is very low octane

    Hoof head

I found one at an estate sale. It was cracked but repaired. Also 12 thou had to be taken off due to warpage. I have It on my coupe with a stipe cam, vortex dual updraft, and light port work. Runs pretty hard. It's much thicker than a stock head. I ended up having to make my own distributor drive...

so i got back to work on it. Parts ordered from synders should be here thursday. Rearend is shot. Missing teeth on a spider and locked the pinion up. That in turn broke the u joint, transmission case, sliding gear, and the clutch is shot too. Whoo!

Driving along, then boom and crunch

I was driving along in high gear when it happened. The rearend is toast. Up in the air, only one tire spins. Spiders are gone. Wedged in the pinion and locked it up, broke the case on the ******. Had to use the tractor to lift the rear up to get it in the shop.

Driving along, then boom and crunch

Driving along in my 30 coupe today when all the sudden it made that sound that costs money. Far as I can tell, the rearend locked up with no warning, which in turn broke the transmission case. So now I'm on the hunt for replacement parts. Whoo!

Took my Model A to the goodguys friday night drags...

What a hoot! Managed to pass tech inspection cause the tech guy was laughing so hard. Dialed in a 28.07 at 45.7 mph. Made it through 2 rounds of eliminations before i broke out of my time running a smoking 27.89. It was a hoot, and i was such a crowd favorite that they had me run an exhibition...
