Should i be concerned with a little smoke coming out of an 8BA blow by tube? No smoke coming out of exhaust.

Thanks everyone, great feedback. Still thinking i’ll add the coolant thank. Also meant to say once the thermostats opened that’s when i’d get some water out of the overflow.

Is adding a coolant overflow tank a good idea for my 1950 8ba? I’ve noticed some coolant overflow loss on cold start up’s. Appreciate any thoughts on this from the group :)

May be a silly question but i’m very concerned with temperature of my 1950 8BA. I’ve heard so much about overheating in these engines. I’ve installed temp sensors on both upper head ports just to keep an eye on both sides. Does the group think this is overkill or will it do any good to monitor...

Yes, I heard some good things, its a bolt on, but would still prefer to weld.
