    Steering column 29 A

Whichever way you decide to go, Les Pearson's book The Complete Model A Ford Restoration Manual has an excellent description of how to disassemble the steering column. I am also in the steering column process now and find that I use both Les Pearson's book along with the Model A Ford Meechanic's...

    Sold my '29 PU

I hate to see it go to CT.:( I'm happy to see it go to CT as I live there and hope to see it at the local meets. It sure looks good in pictures and I'm sure it will look better in person. Dave, don't be too sad, your personal loss is helping others to enjoy your beautiful truck. I'm sure it...

Alternative to standard Model A stone guard

I don't think anything that close to the radiator will do much to stop the "stones" from damaging it. It needs the space to deflect when hit. Some sort of stand off might do it?

    1930 Town Sedan

If you could post some pictures it sure would help to answer some if not all of your questions. Not to mention that we would all love to see an original "A". Pictures may also interest someone near you who could come and look at it and maybe buy it. As a Town Sedan owner I am especially...

Intnl Model A Ford Day 2014

I prefer black, but all black is too much black. The accent should be done with pinstripe and/or reveals. Just my opinion.

Niagara blue light - any pictures ?

If you look at any Town Sedans with the Andalusite Blue body with Niagara Blue Light reveals, it looks like turquoise.

    Which Wood Would You Use?

Great looking truck. I'm sure whatever you use will look good. I just wanted to add that if Henry had used Ipe, it would still be as good as new today. How many woods can say that they are fire rated, or they will not float?

The Most Interesting Ford Dealership Photo Ever Seen?

What a great picture. Anyone know the year of the truck that is doing all the work in the picture. Looks like the front tires are about to give up. I would say that this picture is worth a lot more than 1000 words. WOW

    Rust Removal

A while back I started a thread called "The time between stripping and painting" Talked about our use of molasses to remove rust. 9 parts water to 1 part molasses is what we used and it worked great. We used wet molasses that we got from a restaurant supply company. It came in 5 gallon pails...

    Molasses rust removal

The molasses only attacks the rust not the metal. Those pits were caused by rust and the molasses cleans right down to the bottom of the pits.

    Problem with electrolysis

I agree with ford3. Molasses works great and removes ONLY the rust. You already have the tank and the water all you need is the molasses. Easy to get from a restaurant supply company. I never would have believed it if I hadn't tried it myself. I'll never use anything else again. S Dunn

We look forward to the event. We can't bring the car this year as it is disassembled for restoration, but we will bring our enthusiasm for the As and Ts. Always a good show. See you there. :)

Little Something For the Town Sedan-ers

Charlie, I would love to see a picture or pictures of your 1929 Murray town sedan. I have only seen one that was not restored, and it was repainted. I also have a 29 Murray that I am restoring and I would love to see an original color. Thanks, S Dunn
