My uncle is working on a 48 ford coupe but one front fender doesn't have any chrome (ss) holes for trim nor has it been filled in. We didn't know what it could have been off of, any ideas

No brace, two bolts going directly thru the starter and two beside the starter on the outside edge into the housing

Hello all, i fired up the ol gal today after a 7 plus sleep. The problem that i had a couple times was the starter sticking, rock the truck all good to go again. I talked to my uncle who had the truck for 28 years and he said it always has done it even when my papaw had it. Is there any solution...

Good advice, what I noticed was that the little lever that opens the lock was slipping behind, bent it back and lubed everything. Everything working fine now. LUBE is key to keeping the hinges working free which rust is most likely the culprit, Thanks everyone for your help

I tried putting tape around the shaft to make ot tighter to see if it helped, but it did the same

I have a 1950 ford truck, the passenger door will only open from the inside, if you try the outside handle it just drops down and stays. I took the outside handle off and it looks fine no real wear marks or anything, I looked in the hole and it looks fine there too any ideas? Also I should...
