Sounds like the clutch shaft going thru the Bell Housing is the problem. Might try some penetrating oil to free it up.

By enlarging the pictures it sure looks like both the ratchet and pawl are worn. These are not hard to replace, hopefully the parts are available.

SNAFU1929 I would contact the MARCOM model A club out of Foxboro. I am sure they can steer you to someone in that area that may be able to help. Unfortunately Mike Cataldo in North Attleboro closed up shop and moved to Florida.

I have driven cross-country three times and since we avoid the interstates, unless absolutely necessary, I keep the speed between 45 - 55. On the interstate I will do 60 but stay in the right lane.

I took this picture a number of years ago of this Fordor with skirts. I have no knowledge of the owner for any information.

I have used Ficken Wiper Service in New York with great success. Maybe they could use a few for some extra stock.
