I bought a 55 ford { 6 volt) in 1965. I fought that system til i parked it and sold it. I now have a 38 truck with the 6 volt system and I see the same thing happening. What are the pros and cons to converting the 38 to a 12 volt system? Thanks for your thoughts.

Well I think I finally have the parts to install the original style hood latch on my 38 truck. I don't really have a clue how though. Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all!
