    New 'Death Wobble'

I would rarely get it when I was braking around 10mph over a bump. I have an out of round brake drum that probably is causing this.

    Leaking gas tank

Anybody reading this without a leaking gas tank as of now, I highly, highly recommend installing the bracket that divorces the column away from the tank bracket. I did, and it's so nice to know your not pulling on that tank! Do it now before it happens!

won't run right, driving me nuts

Condensers should almost be the first thing to focus on when trouble like this happens.

    Cluster Gear Wear

That cluster is not useable. Get a replacement. Definitely ready for retirement!

    Different way to wire headlights

I would solder the wires and use shrink tubing rather then just crimping the wires. Or bare crimp connectors , solder, then shrink tubing.

I used used red tacky grease on the cable. BUT....there is special speedo cable lube that is still available if you choose.

Why is it hard to find 30w oil

Ace Hardware stores in California will have 30wt. oil. Either call the store near you to check if they stock it. I do in the San Gabriel Valley area, but if the store near you doesn't, go to Acehardware.com and you can order it.

How Can Ethanol in Gas Affect Model A Can Affect Carbs and Oil?

Ethanol is nasty, should never be in Gasoline. Rubber, brass, die cast, steel and more materials are affected. Never should of been put in gas in the first place. Period.

    No Spark - FIXED!

Re: No Spark - NEED HELP! Try shooting some carb cleaner in each spark plug hole, or gasoline. Crank it enough if it's even flooded. See if she pops a few times or runs briefly. Worth a try if not already done. I know you changed out the condenser, but it sure sounds like that condition!

    Hello baby, here's your rattle!

I would of loved to drive a brand new Model A to see what kind of rattles occured. Then we would have some kind of base for gauging our vehicles today.

Why Can't I Get This On???

"Very likely you'll find the shaft a skosh (technical term) short of ends matched." Man, I haven't heard that term in a long time! I need to start using that term again.

    1931 Model A no start/ run issue

Sounds like a bad condenser to me. Or you already changed that, right?

    Cleaning AirMaze

No special procedure needed. Take the screen part and scrub it with dish soap. Clean as well as the other part that bolts to the carb. It should be clean. But if there is any gummy gas residue, then spray everything with some carb cleaner.

When did owning a Model A become a hobby?

Personally, I take calling it a "hobby" an insult. Restoring and driving antique vehicles means a hell of a lot more than a hobby. Some view it as a lifestyle. I am one of them. But that's me.
