    37 Distributor

It's a 6v system. The gen wire was on the coil so straight to the battery. I have the new distributor ready to go on but it sure seems hard to turn by hand. I mean turning the shaft that connects to the motor.

    37 Distributor

Long story short, I burned up the coil. A friend put a charger on it. 12v neg ground, you guess the rest. New coil, no spark. Think the points burned so I got the whole distributor. I need to file the contacts, but this thing doesn't want to turn. Is this normal or am I missing something? Thanks!

There was a lot of epoxy. Not JB Weld, but some brittle stuff I cleaned up best I could. Then I filed and brushed the area and JB'd 'er good.

Looks like a match to me John, thanks. And thanks for the welcome! Now, you guys think I could clean up that corner and JB Weld it? Might not be pretty but if it's not pressurized I'd think it would solve my issue for now until I work any more kinks out of the ol' girl. That clutch chattered so...

So, you agree that it's a 37 radiator? I think it had a 5 lb cap on it. I don't know if it's a "tube" I think it's the tank at the top of the radiator. I circled the leaking area here.

    1937 Radiator issue

Hey, fellas. New to the board, long time flathead fan. I've recently purchased a 37 with what I believe to be the original motor. I'm replacing the clutch and pulled the rad. Took it to my rad guy since it had a small leak at the top. He didn't want to solder it since it was a small crack that...
