I noticed the rear floor is not "recessed" like the A400 and Victoria. That would confirm more of what has been said about the authenticity of the restoration.

I had the same problem this summer. The problem after much troubleshooting, the idle jet which should be one solid piece was two pieces. The lower piece of the jet was loose and turning inside the hex part of the jet. I changed the jet and problem went away. I hope this helps

That looks like open wire secondaries (120v per wire) They are hot because he's using a wood hot stick. The wood ladder is his insulation.

If you replaced the ignition switch with a new after market it may be just touching the gas tank causing it to short intermittenly. I would take the dash out and put electrical tape or rubber on the tank and back of switch. I experienced this on a friends car, it was a real head scratcher.

The best thread sealer for gasoline is rectoseal. Its available at any hardware store/ home center. It will not disappoint.
