Thanks to everybody that replied to my question on how to remove the bearings from my oil pump and distbutor , I used the hacksaw method and had no problems

What is the best way to remove the brass bearings in both the oil pump shaft and the distributor shaft

Thanks for all your help , I did put the tin shields on, I just ordered a new pitman arm. Will let you know how it goes after that.

1930 closed cab pickup the drag link has been replaced with a new one put in new cups and spring and end cap, still get a gap where dirty and water can get into the end of drag link I am going to order a new pitman arm hope this works

1930 cc pickup I put on a new drag link and replaced all of the rubber seals with new and replaced all of the springs and cups In the drag link

I am having trouble with the drag link and pitman arm, When I mate the two up and adjust the end cap the rubber seal will leave a gap behind the pitman arm. Where dirt and water can get in what am I doing wrong
