Back to the 50's stock cars

Just this last spring I dug out my 34 3 window that I last drove in 64. I built an engine for it and hope to have it running next summer. It is a true time capsule of how these cars were built and run.

If you are going to build a race engine and run it on fuel it is going to get expensive. For a driver it doesn't have to be. I agree with the fellows that said there is a lot of overkill. Start with a decent core, replace what needs to be replaced and leave the rest alone. Last fall I bought a...

    Caution to all

Ken, thanks for the heads up. If everyone that gets junk parts will post it here,it may save others some grief and the suppliers may see it and realize that they can't get away with peddling junk.

    Horders

A couple years ago a guy called looking for a part and I agreed to sell it to him because I had several. He wanted to look at some of my other stuff so I took him out to one of the sheds. He started with how much for this? I told him that nothing in the shed was for sale because it was parts I...

    Can't open door!

Until you can find replacement parts, braze up the worn ones and file to shape. That will last for about 50 years and you should be able to find new ones in that time.
