My 1930 AA has two options for placement of rod clevis pin in the E brake cross shaft lever. Book says it’s the only adjustment for wear. Not sure if car is same.
Air volume. I help a friend do blacksmith demonstrations at a local festival. He has an old oxygen tank and a little pancake compressor. His steam whistle will give several loud blasts before the compressor has to catch up.
My AA project was a basket case. I’ve spent more on it than it would ever be worth. I agree that the best bargain is likely an already restored vehicle.
But I really have enjoyed the challenge and the good thing is I have learned a great deal and by necessity have become an expert on it. Plus I...
I know this is comparing apples to oranges, but I have a 3 speed Warford over-under-direct in my AA. Not street legal yet but anxious to try it out.
I don’t think I’ve ever heard anything negative about a Mitchell except maybe the wait on orders.

My local O-Reilly’s had 4 on the shelf for $3.17 each including tax. I went ahead and bought them at that price doesn’t hurt to have spares. Probably never need them. I have a new set in the truck now and four new 3X on shelf plus six new old stock Champion C4X plugs in original cartons.
I’m fixing to replace steering arms on my AA truck with ones with new balls welded on. Should I replace the stock type metal cups in tie rods and drag link with the teflon kit? Does it improve steering? Does the teflon wear well?
Be thankful you aren’t working on AA. No replacements available at any price. And if you are trying to fit up a Warford auxiliary transmission it really gets tricky finding good original ones with correct splines. Snyder’s price doesn’t sound outrageous to me if it’s a quality part. Bought any...
Thanks Renner, expert advice is appreciated here. Reading the ditching air maze thread I am amazed at the number of people who are blissfully and adamantly ignorant. For some folks facts evidently have no merit when you are sure your opinion is always right. Heating and cooling have been part of...
