    1957 312 V8 stumbles accelerating

I had the same issue with my 57 312 and it turned out to be the Pertronix ignition. That was my third Pertronix failure. I'm done using them and went back to points

    drum brakes pulling to side

Having issues with the front drum brakes on my 56 Fairlane pulling left or right. All new wheel cylinders, hoses, shoes and hardware, turned drums. They will work good until I put about 100 miles on them and then I have to remove the drums and clean the dust out and good for another 100 miles or...

    54 Crestline disc brakes, again

Search Amazon for 66-70 Fairlane brake booster mount. I used a dual MC from a 70 Mustang and an 8" dual diaphragm booster. Also a spacer (bullet) needs to be installed between booster and MC. Can be obtained from Speedway, Summit, Wilwwod or any others that sell brake parts

    54 Crestline disc brakes, again

I recently installed a power booster on my 56 Fairlane and used a booster mounting bracket for a 66-70 Fairlane which raises the booster and MC up about 2 1/2" for better exhaust manifold clearance and also plenty of hood clearance. Found it on Amazon for $96.99

    1961 ford power steering install

I was just researched the same issue recently for my 56 and discovered that the rag joint is not necessary. Can't remember which vendor I found has a coupler which joins the Borgeson box to the steering shaft keeping it inside of the column and allowing your column shifter

    Power steering pump leak

Working on an early 60s Eaton power steering pump which leaks fluid at the pressure connection. Is the inverted flare seat in the pump replaceable? It does appear to be scored and leaks

    Distributor install issues lyb

Didn't you transfer the gear from your Lincoln distributor on to the FYB distributor? If so the shafts should be exactly the same diameter and therefore fit the hole in the block.

    Wheel Alignment

Was able to achieve what I feel are decent settings of 2 1/2* + caster and 1/2* + camber along with 1/16" toe-in using radial tires. Runs down the road and handles perfect now even up to 70mph. Time will tell on tire wear. Thanks to all for your help

    Y block fuel pump

Every new fuel pump I've installed in recent years has put out too much pressure causing me to install fuel pressure regulators. I agree with using FE pumps but even with those you don't know what kind of quality you're getting
