    storm damage

You would probably have to take the whole headliner out anyhow. Maybe a good dry cleaner could bring it back for you?

    Suitcase full of tools

Thanks very much everyone. I guess I will have to figure out how to use them now. BTW, is the valve spring compressor the only one that is Model A specific or can they be used on any engine? The groove cleaner looks newer compared to the others. Thanks again Barn!

    Suitcase full of tools

My father left a suitcase at our family cottage marked "Model A Ford Parts & Tools". Along with a bunch of Front Brake actuator parts, these tools were in the case. I'm only "Les Andrews Handbook" tough when it comes to mechanics so I'm not sure what all these tools are. My sense would be that...

    tudor top material width

I put a top on my 29 last year and I can't imagine having only 1/2 inch to pull, stretch and straighten with. Besides, I think you would need at least an inch on either side to go under the Hide Em.

    Any advice on first Parade?

Thanks to all for the tips. I've got the flags, got the hats, got the jug of water in case I have to sit on the sidelines for awhile. I like the idea of leaving it in first gear and using the spark advance. Might have to test run that in the neighborhood.

    Any advice on first Parade?

So I am getting ready for my first parade this Saturday. Have the kids riding with me in the '29 Tudor. I'm a little nervous about clutching and braking uphill and downhill at 2-5mph for 1.5 miles. I have had the car for a year but have never driven it like this. Any advice from the seasoned...

    Fastening The Chicken Wire

I used 1/4 staples with an air powered stapler and tapped each staple down with a tack hammer.

    This can't be good!

This web site is like a warm blanket for a new guy like me. Thanks everyone. I will look into finding that inspection plate (sounds like it might make a good installation project for next winter..) and see about getting the cotter pin in there. Gonna back off the tabs on the oil fill cap and...

    This can't be good!

So I changed the oil and took her out for the first ride of the season. No issues, ran great, beautiful day. Only went 14 miles. When I got back I noticed a some oil underneath. It did not leak much, and it's much darker than the new oil thats in it. Oil level is right up there. Is this ******...

    Windlace question

I used pop rivets on mine without any issues. I tapped down the raw ends and the post garnish covers them.

    My New Tools

Wow! I must ask, as being somewhat new to the barn, are these tool kits what would come standard with the purchase of a new Model A? Can you guys give a run down of the ingredients?

    LED Turn signals

Looking for some recommendations on the best LED turn signal/brake light system to put on my 29 Tudor. I will not be using it as a daily driver, but plan on using it frequently. I would like a complete system that works off the +Gnd 6V if possible. Thanks to all and God Bless America!!
