Good idea. Guess I was focused only on glass. I wonder if the blue dots will have the same look with plastic.

I was going to mention that I will try and glue it. I won't be driving very much. Its going to be110 degrees next weekend.

My tail light cracked in half. It's a Dennis Carpenter lens with the blue dot already installed. I don't think they are made anymore. So now I need to figure out how to dill a hole in a glass lens. I have a set on order. I have the original set that came with the car but I don't want to drill...

Hey guys. Thanks for the info. I may have dodged a bullet. The overdrive engaged and disengaged with no issue. I didn't drive far at all with the overdrive. I still need to check it further just in case.

Oh man Alaska Jim, I hope there isnt that much damage to mine. That is a real drag for sure. The car drives and shifts great, but I haven't had the guts to engage the overdrive yet... Thanks for taking the time and replying.

Thank you 40cpe. That makes sense. Prior to the issue everything was working fine. It was freewheeling like it is supposed to. I haven't tried to engage the overdrive since. Ill be checking the fluid levels this weekend in addition to reading the overhaul section in the overhaul manual.
